Kunto Aji To Tulus Open The SAMA SAMA 2025 Tour In Bandung

The SAMA SAMA Tour presents five Indonesian musicians: Dere, Idgitaf, Kunto Aji, Sal Priadi, and Tulus, who opened their first show at the Eldorado Dome, Bandung, on May 4, 2025. After going through a long creative process, from workshops to intensive practice, these five musicians are ready to present a special collaborative performance, combining the uniqueness of their musical styles and the strength of their lyrics on one stage. 

Bandung was chosen as the starting point for a reason. This city is known as the birthplace of many creative ideas and has a warm and enthusiastic audience base for experimental music performances. 

Tulus expressed his pleasure in having the opportunity to sing in Bandung. According to him, the appreciation from the Bandung audience is very valuable and all the musicians can't wait to open the SAMA SAMA Tour in Bandung. Dere also added his hope that all the audience can have fun together in the opening city of the SAMA SAMA Tour. Not only presenting popular songs from the five musicians, but also showing their other sides in a format that has never been seen before, from solos, duets, to quintet performances full of surprises. The show opened with a medley featuring works from each musician. This section was intended as an “entry point” for the audience into the explorative numbers in the following songs in various formats. 

The closer it got to the peak, the more emotional the atmosphere became. Nuya and Farras, Creative Directors of the SAMA SAMA Tour, said that the audience would be taken on a cross-discography journey, various new formats of songs, collaborations to special mashup compositions that could only be witnessed on the SAMA SAMA Tour. The hope is that everyone feels like they are going home with full hearts. 

Bandung is the first city to experience the special treat of the entire SAMA SAMA Tour concept. All the experiments, stage dynamics, and surprising elements will be presented for the first time to the audience in this city. These five musicians hope to invite all the audience to come and be part of the history of this premiere performance.
