Java Jazz 2025 Is Ready To Present Historical Artists And Introduce New Talents

President Director of Java Jazz Festival Production Dewi Gontha said that the Java Jazz Festival, which is entering its 20th year this year, will present historical musicians and young Indonesian talents.

"This festival will welcome back artists who have played an important role in its history, while introducing new talents who will bring new energy to the world of music," said Dewi in a press conference held in Jakarta, Wednesday.

On that occasion, she highlighted that domestic news might be colored by some less than good things. However, she is sure that through the music presented through this event, it can unite differences.

The Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival will be held on May 30, 2025 to June 1, 2025 in Kemayoran, Jakarta. This event will feature eleven stages spread across the JIExpo Kemayoran area, Jakarta.

Her party also announced a series of famous musicians for phase two who will grace the stage, including Raye, Tunde-The Voice of Lighthouse Family who will revive favorite songs.

In addition, there are performances by Snarky Puppy, Lettuce, The Stevie Wonder Celebration, Jose Miguel, Jeff Lorber, BPM composer, Kamasi Washington, Brian Simpson, Jesus Molina, Ron King Big Band, Shakatak, Yun Seok Cheol Trio.

Meanwhile, local musicians who will also enliven the Java Jazz stage which was first held in 2005 are Endah N Rhesa Extended, Nyoman Paul, Rahmania Astrini, Rieka Roeslan and Nada Dara, Rizky Febrian, Rony Parulian, Wijaya 80, Jordan Susanto, Nonaria X Horns Big Band, Aib Show, Syahrani, and The Lantis.

Previously, the Java Jazz Festival announced the first phase lineup, namely Jacob Collier as a special performer on Friday (30/5). He is known for his distinctive musical style which often combines jazz, funk, classical, electronic and mainstream genres.

In addition, there are Adikara, Bilal Indrajaya, Busty and the Bass, Jane Monheit, Justin Lee-Schultz, Munir Homs & Elsa, Straight No Chaser, The Philharmonik and The Yusuf Dayes Experience.
