The Minister Of Culture Expresses Condolences For The Passing Of "Bajuri" Mat Solar

The Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, expressed his condolences following the passing of Mat Solar, the actor known for his role as "Bajuri" in the sitcom Bajaj Bajuri. 

Fadli Zon shared his condolences on his X account @fadlizon. 

"I extend my heartfelt sympathies on the departure of the late P Nasrullah, also known as Mat Solar or Bajuri. May he rest in peace. Al Fatihah," wrote Fadli Zon in his post on X on Monday evening. 

In addition to the Gerindra party politician, writer and film critic Yan Widjaya also conveyed his condolences through his X account @yan_widjaya. 

In his post, Yan elaborated on Mat Solar's career in acting and provided details about the health issues that accompanied him until his passing. 

"Rest in peace, Mat Solar/Nasrullah (Jakarta 4/12/1962 - Jakarta 17/3/2025), actor-comedian in theater, film, and television, as well as a politician. He performed in Teater Mama (TVRI 1978-1982), appeared in 7 films, and 13 soap operas including #BajajBajuri (1287 episodes/2002-2007) and #TukangBuburNaikHaji (2185 episodes/2012-2017). He suffered a stroke since 2015. Passed away on Monday at 22:30," Yan posted on his X account. 

The remains of the deceased are currently laid to rest at the funeral home located at Jl. H Saidin No. 73 RT 06/03 Bambu Apus Pamulang, South Tangerang, with plans for burial on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 09:00/10:00 WIB at the Haji Daiman Public Cemetery (TPU), Cimanggis Ciputat. 

Mat Solar was born on December 4, 1962, and passed away at the age of 62. He was reported to have been battling recovery from a stroke since 2015. 

In addition to his well-known role as Bajuri, the veteran actor also starred in the soap opera "Tukang Bubur Naik Haji."
