SM Entertainment's New Star! Carmen, Indonesia's Representative In K-Pop Via Hearts2Hearts

HEARTS2HEARTS (H2H), SM Entertainment's newest girl group, rocked the K-Pop industry with their debut today, Monday (24/2). 

Of the eight members that make up this group, there is one figure that has caught the attention of fans in Indonesia: Carmen, a member from Bali. 

Carmen: Indonesia's Representative in K-Pop 

Her full name is Nyoman Ayu Carmenita, a talented girl who was born on March 28, 2006 in Denpasar, Bali. 

Her presence in Hearts2Hearts is a source of pride for K-Pop fans in Indonesia, considering that not many K-Pop idols from Indonesia have successfully debuted in the South Korean music industry. 

Carmen's journey in the entertainment world was not instant. Since she was little, she has shown extraordinary talent in dancing and singing. 

After going through various stages of rigorous auditions, she finally became part of SM Entertainment's training system and officially joined Hearts2Hearts. 

Hearts2Hearts' Debut Journey 

Since September 4, 2022, rumors about the group began to emerge after SM Entertainment's internal documents were leaked to the public. The silhouettes of eight girls began to be introduced through Instagram posts, including Carmen, whose identity had not been revealed at that time. 

On March 15, 2023, a secret showcase for female trainees was held. Since then, Carmen and other members have begun to receive attention. Shortly after, she and three other trainees attended an exclusive workshop in Japan as part of their debut preparations. 

Changing Debut Schedule 

SM Entertainment had announced various possible debut dates, starting from the fourth quarter of 2023, the first half of 2024, until it was finally confirmed that Hearts2Hearts would debut in the first quarter of 2025. 

The Chase and the Future of Hearts2Hearts 

With their debut single album "The Chase", Hearts2Hearts is ready to start their journey in the K-Pop industry. Not only debut, SM Entertainment has also confirmed that the group will return with a new single in the second quarter of 2025, indicating their big ambitions.
