The Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) 2024 has once again emerged as a prestigious event for the nation's film industry. The FFI Citra Award Night 2024 took place at ICE, BSD, South Tangerang, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

One of the major awards, Best Leading Actress, was awarded to Nirina Zubir for her performance in the film "Falling in Love Like in the Movies." Nirina's achievement in securing the Citra Trophy reinforces her status as one of Indonesia's finest actresses.

In this film, Nirina demonstrated a profound understanding of her complex character, portraying a unique emotional journey and love story. She triumphed over other nominees, including Aghniny Haque for "God, Allow Me to Sin," Faradina Mufti for "The Torture of the Grave," Laura Basuki for "Heartbreak Motel," and Marissa Anita for "Crocodile Tears."

"Falling in Love Like in the Movies" is a 2023 Indonesian romantic drama directed and written by Yandy Laurens. The film, which premiered in Indonesian cinemas on November 30, 2023, features a cast that includes Ringgo Agus Rahman, Nirina Zubir, Alex Abbad, Sheila Dara, and Dion Wiyoko. Additionally, "Falling in Love Like in the Movies" was also awarded Best Film at FFI 2024, with Ringgo winning the Best Leading Actor category for his role in the same film.
