Expansion To Indonesia, Avanade Drives Digital Transformation With Microsoft Technology

Avanade, a leading global Microsoft expert, announced its investment and expansion into Indonesia, to develop local talent and skills to accelerate digital transformation. 

Through this expansion and investment, Avanade is committed to empowering local communities to leverage Microsoft technologies such as agentic AI, generative AI, cybersecurity, and cloud. 

Starting its initial steps, Avanade has partnered with Siloam Hospital, leading transportation service provider, Serasi Autoraya (TRAC), and PT Astra Digital Internasional to explore and create business value through AI-based solutions. 

"With the planned launch of Microsoft Indonesia Central Cloud Region this year, this is the right time for Avanade to further expand its presence in the Southeast Asia region," said Megawaty Khie, Regional Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Avanade in her statement. 

She also said that this strategic expansion will enable Avanade to bring Microsoft solutions and expertise, global technology leadership, and local industry knowledge to organizations across Indonesia. 

In addition, Avanade also aims to contribute to the growth of Indonesia's digital economy by creating jobs and providing opportunities for local talent to develop crucial skills in the AI ??era. 

Microsoft ASEAN President Andrea Della Mattea believes that Avanade's timely expansion will bring trusted expertise in AI and cloud, helping organizations move faster and more responsibly.
