Indonesia Offers Investment Opportunities In Renewable Energy And Green Technology At WEF 2025 In Davos

The Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) will once again present the Indonesian Pavilion at the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) taking place in Davos, Switzerland, from January 20 to 24, 2025. 

This pavilion is part of the efforts by the Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry/Head of BKPM, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, to enhance Indonesia's image as a nation actively promoting sustainable investment and energy transition. During the event, Minister Rosan is scheduled to speak in two sessions: "Industrial Clusters as Energy Pioneers" on January 22, 2025, and "Country Strategy Dialogue on Indonesia" on January 23, 2025. 

The former Indonesian Ambassador to the United States also noted that the theme of artificial intelligence (AI) at this year's WEF is highly relevant to developments in Indonesia, which has a population exceeding 270 million. 

"Indonesia's presence here at the WEF demonstrates our commitment to being part of the global discussion, showing that Indonesia is aware of the challenges we face together. For global investors, Indonesia is the right home for their investments as we have adopted sustainability principles and are utilizing artificial intelligence across various industries," stated Minister Rosan in Davos on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. 

Minister Rosan Roeslani Leads Key Discussions at WEF 2025 

At the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025, Minister Rosan plays a crucial role in leading two panel discussion sessions that address strategic issues related to clean energy development and global investment. These discussions will not only strengthen Indonesia's position on the global stage but also create opportunities to promote investment in renewable energy and green technology.
