The Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Creative Economy (Kemenekraf) as a data steward and the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) during a visit from the Boleh Dicoba Digital (BDD) team.

"The use of AI in processing big data can accelerate the achievement of the Emak-Emak Matic program's objectives," stated Deputy Minister Irene in a press release received on Wednesday, January 8.

During the meeting held at the Sapta Pesona Building in Jakarta, Deputy Minister Irene underscored the significance of data, particularly live data. The contribution of the creative economy has proven to play a vital role in two ongoing developments: national GDP and job creation.

The audience also included Yuana Rochma Astuti, the Director of Digital Content at Kemenekraf, and Yuke Sri Rahayu, the Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design at Kemenekraf.

Yuana, as the Director of Digital Content, added that programs such as Emak-Emak Matic or Emak-Emak Melek Teknologi, as mentioned by Deputy Minister Irene, are initiatives that can be synergized.

This program exemplifies Kemenekraf's commitment to empowering women.

"This program aims to facilitate collaboration among program participants, local communities, and business actors in each city. The women's empowerment initiative in the creative economy has already been socialized in two cities: Bandung and Yogyakarta," Yuana remarked.

From the BDD side, Yuricho Billy, the Head of Community Development, expressed hope for added value from the communities or creative economy actors that have been documented.

This value can also be realized if the government seeks to develop knowledge, particularly in advertising and content creation.

"Indonesia is not just about physical strength; it also possesses intellectual creativity and the ability to add value, enabling the creation of narratives that highlight products made in Indonesia, which can instill pride," Yuricho stated.
