EFishery Collaborates With Brawijaya University To Expand Innovation Through Technology

eFishery, an aquaculture technology company from Indonesia, has announced the potential for a strategic collaboration with Universitas Brawijaya to support learning, research, community service, and enhance the impact of innovation with the help of technology in Indonesia.

This collaboration is marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties represented by Chrisna Aditya as the Chief of Product of eFishery and Prof. Unti Ludigdo as the Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at Universitas Brawijaya at the eFishery office in Bandung, West Java on June 20, 2024.

The potential cooperation covers four main areas: education, research, community service, and improving the quality of human resources. In addition, both parties are also exploring broader and sustainable collaboration to achieve common goals. This partnership allows them to enrich knowledge to address challenges in the aquaculture sector through the application of technological innovation.

Chrisna Aditya, Chief of Product of eFishery, said, "We welcome the potential collaboration with Universitas Brawijaya and this is the spirit that drives us at eFishery to remain committed to technological advancements. In line with eFishery's mission, we aim to expand access to technology by developing affordable aquaculture technology solutions to empower farmers in Indonesia.

The signing of the MoU between eFishery and Brawijaya University marks our joint commitment to implementing technological innovations for a better impact. After the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a discussion session was held to explore further potential collaborations. In this collaboration, both parties will facilitate joint research in innovative aquaculture technology to accelerate technological development in the aquaculture sector.

Furthermore, in the areas of community service and human resource development, collaborative activities can be carried out by directly engaging with fish farmers to observe cultivation issues and organizing workshops, seminars, and teacher exchanges. eFishery and Brawijaya University are optimistic that this collaboration will make a significant and positive contribution to the aquaculture industry.
