The Indonesian Post
The Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for Indonesia's manufacturing sector declined to 48.9 in August 2024, down from 49.3 in July, due to a decrease in global manufacturing performance amid demand pressures. Similarly, the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in the oil and gas sector, as well as in supply chain management, is noteworthy. ERP serves as an information system model that enables organizations to automate and integrate their core business processes. In the digital age, companies across various sectors are increasingly relying on technology to enhance efficiency and productivity. ERP, in particular, has become a cornerstone of modern business operations, facilitating better integration of processes, data, and functions within organizations. As the year draws to a close, Elemes Group, a provider of digital business solutions, has officially partnered with Hidden Brains, an Indian ERP provider, as part of its commitment to accelerate digital transformation in Indonesia, particularly within the manufacturing, oil and gas, and supply chain industries. This strategic collaboration also addresses the growing industry demand for more cost-effective and flexible digital systems, including artificial intelligence (AI). Elemes Group offers solutions through the adoption of ERP software and machine learning (ML) for AI-based data processing, specifically utilizing Hidden Brains' products, Rockeye and Datum. Rendi Simamora, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Elemes Group, stated that the integration of the Rockeye ERP software with an appealing user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) serves as a modern business operational solution. This integration facilitates the integration, automation, and optimization of all business processes. As a result, it enhances efficiency, data accuracy, and decision-making capabilities within the manufacturing, oil and gas, and complex, dynamic supply chain environments while reducing costs. Furthermore, Elemes Group provides AI solutions through the implementation of Datum AI, which is based on text and audio, allowing stakeholders to interact directly with their data, pose questions, and receive instant, accurate responses while maintaining privacy without reliance on operational teams, systems, or locations. Datum AI is available in multiple languages, as it is equipped with Large Language Models (LLM), which are statistical language models that utilize AI to process, comprehend, and generate text. "We are highly impressed with Hidden Brains' ability to understand the business needs of our clients in the industry. The ERP and AI solutions they have developed solidify Elemes Group's position in providing technological solutions that integrate all business processes," Rendi remarked.
