Indonesia presents significant investment opportunities in the green economy, blue economy, and digital sectors. The Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Ngurah Swajaya, articulated this in alignment with the Vision of Indonesia Gold 2045. The Indonesia Business Forum Series 2024 was successfully held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the FIFA Museum in Zurich, Switzerland. Under the theme "Transforming Tomorrow: Indonesia's Potential - Investment Opportunities for Green and Digital Economies," this business forum served as a strategic platform to explore new investment prospects in Indonesia's green, blue, and digital economies. The forum attracted Swiss business leaders, investors, academics, and other stakeholders, featuring speakers from Jakarta and experienced business professionals engaged with Indonesia. Topics discussed included Green Technology, Blue Economy, and Digital Economy, reflecting the government's priority agenda, Asta Cita. During the forum, Ngurah elaborated on President Prabowo's Asta Cita vision, aiming to realize the Vision of Indonesia Gold 2045, positioning Indonesia as one of the world's largest economies, achieving net zero emissions by 2060 or earlier, and transforming the economy through renewable energy, blue energy, digital innovation, and a science and technology-based global supply chain. "In line with the theme of this business forum, the Indonesian government seeks to invite investments from Switzerland to collaboratively enhance Indonesia's competitive advantages by improving natural resource management, promoting sustainable practices through industrial development, and leveraging Indonesia's potential in the global carbon market through nature conservation, which is a key priority of Asta Cita," Ngurah stated in a press release dated Sunday, November 24, 2024.
