Thursday, 21 Nov 2024

Doku, a financial technology (fintech) company specializing in payment solutions, has partnered with 62 local and regional business associates to launch the Doku Travel Fest (DTF) 2024 platform.

This platform not only facilitates payment transactions for its business partners but also adds value beyond comprehensive and high-quality payment services.

DTF 2024 will feature various business partners, including Air Asia, Citradream, JHL, KCIC, Le Eminence, Hotel Tentrem, Trip.com, and popular culinary options. Through this event, Doku aims to target a diverse range of consumer segments, including individual travelers, families, and groups, with a variety of local and international travel destinations.

Himelda Renuat, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Doku, stated that the company is committed to fostering transaction growth while providing a comprehensive and enjoyable online shopping experience for the Indonesian public.

"Through DTF 2024, we aim to enhance the sales strategies of our partners by creating opportunities for higher transactions and expanding our reach to new customers," Himelda remarked in an official statement on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

Himelda further explained that DTF 2024 will run for an entire month, during which consumers can visit the Doku website to plan their trips by selecting preferred travel destinations and making bookings. Additionally, through DTF 2024, consumers will have access to discounts of up to 70%.

DTF 2024 marks the beginning of our efforts to establish a robust community of business partners aimed at mutual growth within our capacity as a fintech payment company in Indonesia, stated Himelda.

Himelda also expressed her hope that this initiative will contribute to the enhancement of the local economy, as evidenced by the sales figures of partner businesses, and will create a positive social impact for the broader community that benefits from cost-saving shopping promotions for their holiday needs.

It is noteworthy that by the fourth quarter of 2024, approximately 300,000 businesses have joined the Doku payment ecosystem, serving around 6,000,000 users of Doku's e-wallet services across Indonesia.

Additionally, Doku has identified three popular payment methods utilized by customers of its business partners: virtual accounts (VA), over-the-counter payments, and e-wallets.

“Overall, Doku's business growth continues to rise, with the company achieving over 300 million transactions by the third quarter of 2024,” remarked Himelda.
