After My Chemical Romance, Hammersonic 2026 Prepares Another International Band For Jakarta

My Chemical Romance is confirmed to hold a concert in Jakarta. They will be one of the main performers at Hammersonic 2026: Decade of Dominion. 

Decade of Dominion is a celebration of 10 years of Hammersonic, a metal music festival owned by Ravel Entertainment. Ravel Junardy as CEO of Ravel Entertainment and Founder of Hammersonic Festival ensures that there are still many world-class rock band line-ups that will be announced gradually towards May 2026. 

My Chemical Romance will perform at Hammersonic on May 3, 2026. MCR will package their concert with a full lineup, full setlist, and world-class production, including theatrical visual effects, spectacular lighting, and a sound system that meets global tour standards. This will be MCR's first debut in Indonesia since the reunion. 

"We believe that rock music is broad. MCR is here as a symbol of Hammersonic's emotional and musical expansion. They represent collective and cross-generational memories that have grown with their work," said Ravel Junardy in his written statement. 

Since their inception in the early 2000s, My Chemical Romance have lit a fire in the souls of millions of fans through monumental works such as Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2004) and The Black Parade (2006). From these albums, iconic hits such as "Helena", "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)", "I Don't Love You", "The Ghost of You", to the eternal anthem "Welcome to the Black Parade" were born. 

According to Ravel, more than just music, MCR is a cultural revolution. From fashion style, lyrical philosophy, to emotional identity that shapes the identity of teenagers into whole people. The Black Parade album is still considered one of the most influential rock albums of all time and has established them as absolute icons in the history of emo and alternative rock music. 

The first phase of ticket sales will begin on July 9, 2025 at 13.00 WIB, only on the official website at www.hammersonic.com, including the announcement of the next line-up.
