Wings Air Serves Kupang–Labuan Bajo Flight Route Starting July 20, 2025, Check The Schedule

PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (API) through El Tari Kupang Airport announced the opening of a direct flight route from Kupang to Labuan Bajo by Wings Air starting July 20, 2025, as part of efforts to support the tourism and connectivity sectors in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). El Tari Kupang Airport General Manager Aidhil P. Julian said this new route will provide convenience and efficiency of travel for the community, tourists, and business people. "This new route, which will be served by Wings Air, is scheduled to start its inaugural flight on July 20, 2025, offering convenience and efficiency of travel for residents, tourists, and business people," he said as quoted by Antara, Saturday (5/7/2025). He added that so far, the trip from Kupang to Labuan Bajo often requires additional time and costs because it has to transit. The presence of direct flights is expected to significantly reduce travel time and increase travel comfort. Wings Air will operate this route using an ATR 72 aircraft with a capacity of 72 economy class seats. This type of aircraft is considered suitable for short routes and is efficient in fuel consumption. The flight schedule that will come into effect on July 20, 2025 is: 

Julian emphasized that El Tari Airport is ready to support the smooth operation of this new route. "This is a step forward in supporting tourism and economic growth in NTT. As the manager of El Tari Kupang Airport, we are fully ready to support the smooth operation of this new route for the comfort and satisfaction of service users," he said. He also invited the public to use the route for tourism, business, or family visits. Tickets are available on the airline's official channels, online travel agents, and the nearest travel agent.
