A total of 32 flights at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, today (18/6) were canceled due to the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The total of 32 flights consisted of international and domestic flights, for arrivals and departures from Bali Airport. Acting General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Wahyudi said that as of Wednesday (18/6) at 09.30 WITA, several airlines decided to cancel their flights. "There are a total of 12 international departures and 5 domestic departures with canceled status due to eruption activity," he said in an official statement. The 12 international flights that were canceled were: - 3 flights to Singapore - 2 flights to Melbourne - 2 flights to Brisbane - 1 flight to Adelaide - 1 flight to Sydney - 1 flight to Pudong - 1 flight to Auckland - 1 flight to Delhi On domestic routes, there were 5 departures affected, namely 4 routes to Labuan Bajo, and 1 route to Semarang. Furthermore, for arrivals at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, there were 13 international flights and 2 domestic flights that were canceled by the airline. The 13 international arrival routes that were affected include: - Melbourne 3 flights - Brisbane 2 flights - Singapore 1 flight - Adelaide 1 flight - Sydney 1 flight - Perth 1 flight - Darwin 1 flight - Shanghai 1 flight - Auckland 1 flight - Delhi 1 flight For domestic arrival routes, there were 2 flights arriving from Labuan Bajo that were affected.
