Accor, in partnership with 37 hotels in the Greater Jakarta region, organized an event called “Meet ALL Partners” on Friday, November 1, 2024. The gathering attracted around 300 clients and business partners, culminating in a movie screening at CGV Grand Indonesia in Central Jakarta. "We invited all our corporate clients to join us for an event that stands out from our usual activities. Our aim is to provide a distinctive experience that leaves a lasting impression," said Stephane Bryer, Director of Operations for Greater Jakarta, during his address to the media. Participating hotels included Swissotel Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk, Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills, Pullman Jakarta Central Park, Movenpick Jakarta City Center, Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran, and Grand Mercure Jakarta Harmoni. Stephane also highlighted the recent openings of Accor's newest hotels, Hotel Ibis Styles Serpong BSD City and Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre Pecenongan. Furthermore, Lisa P. Sanjoyo, General Manager of Mercure Jakarta Cikini, provided updates on the year-end program preparations across all Accor hotels in Indonesia. "All Accor hotels, especially in Greater Jakarta, are gearing up for room promotions. These typically feature gala dinners and options for one to two-night stays, tailored to each hotel," Lisa shared. Lisa mentioned that the rates for staying at Accor hotels are very competitive, offering a variety of choices from budget-friendly to luxury options. She pointed out that hotels located near popular tourist spots, like Ancol, tend to be quite busy during the year-end, but many hotels in the city center are also seeing a healthy occupancy rate as they prepare for various events. Currently, the overall occupancy rate for Accor hotels in Greater Jakarta stands at about 70 percent. Lisa highlighted that this is a significant improvement compared to last year, although it hasn't yet reached the levels experienced in 2019. She expressed hope that next year will bring better collaboration with corporate clients, especially with the new government in place.
