Telkom Has Integrated AI Into Its Netmonk Service, Making Network Monitoring Smarter Than Ever

Thursday, 15 Aug 2024

To enhance its services and leverage the latest technology, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has integrated AI technology to streamline network monitoring and management processes, making them more efficient and accurate while reducing reliance on manual checks. The AI implementation in Netmonk features a virtual assistant named MONA. MONA is part of two flagship products, Netmonk Prime and Netmonk HI.

Not only does MONA simplify network monitoring, but it also summarizes real-time information on all monitored activities. It presents this information in a clear, textual format, making it easier for users to understand. Additionally, MONA can analyze incidents within the network, server, or web/API and provide solutions and recommendations.

“Telkom is committed to continuously adopting the latest technologies to enhance the accountability of all digital products and services. The integration of AI in Netmonk, known as MONA, makes network monitoring even more efficient. This aligns with Telkom's commitment to accelerating the development of sustainable smart digital infrastructure and platforms,” said EVP Digital Business & Technology Telkom, Komang Budi Aryasa.

Moreover, MONA comes with predictive analysis features that forecast future network and server capacity availability. This includes assessing the capacity of networks and servers in terms of CPU, memory, and disk space. The predictive analysis feature allows companies to plan their future capacity needs accurately and efficiently.

“MONA also offers flexibility as it can be accessed anytime and on various devices. Plus, it provides interactive notifications that users can respond to. MONA is the answer to reducing operational risks that could affect users' businesses," Komang added. The implementation of AI in Netmonk, which is part of the Leap Telkom Digital brand, is a big step forward in boosting efficiency and reliability in monitoring users' networks.
