Garuda Lowers Domestic Flight Fares By 5% Until July 2025, Check The Routes

National airline Garuda Indonesia has lowered the price of domestic economy class flight tickets by 5% from early June to the end of July 2025. 

This policy is a form of implementation of the government's fiscal stimulus through the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 36/2025 which stipulates Value Added Tax (PPN) Borne by the Government (DTP) for flights during the school holiday period. 

Garuda Indonesia President Director Wamildan Tsani stated that Garuda welcomes this policy and is ready to collaborate fully with stakeholders to expand public access to safe, comfortable, and affordable air transportation. 

"We are ready to support the implementation of this program, both in terms of operations and adjustments to the tariff scheme, so that public mobility during the holidays is maintained without sacrificing service quality," he said in a written statement, quoted Sunday (8/6). 

Head of Corporate Communications Garuda Indonesia Dicky Irchamsyah said that this fare discount program has been in effect since last Friday and will last until July 31, 2025.
