The Price Of Airline Tickets Is High; Commission V Of The DPR Encourages The Transformation Of Indonesian Aviation

The Deputy Chairman of Commission V of the DPR, Syaiful Huda, has highlighted several issues affecting the Indonesian banking sector, one of which is the high cost of airline tickets. Huda emphasizes the necessity of creating the best ecosystem for Indonesia's aviation industry. 

He believes it is time for Indonesia to establish a progressive aviation industry ecosystem that surpasses its neighboring countries in Asia. 

"I fully support the creation of the best ecosystem for the aviation industry by transforming Indonesian aviation. I am confident that the time has come for Indonesia to have a progressive aviation industry ecosystem," Huda stated on Saturday, May 24. 

"Is it possible to synergize with all stakeholders to create a joint agenda that can lead to the transformation or reform of the national aviation industry?" he added. 

According to Huda, if there is a collective commitment to transform Indonesian aviation, the immediate step that must be taken is to realize the national aviation roadmap. He believes that the timeline for this roadmap must be agreed upon collectively. 

"If this is accomplished, we will have a blueprint for the future of the aviation industry that is significantly better," he remarked 

Huda pointed out that one of the main issues requiring significant attention is the modernization of technology and the renewal of equipment or digitalization. 

"Whatever we invest in moving forward must be part of an integrated transformation spirit. This must be done comprehensively, not partially," he concluded.
