The Indonesian Post
President Prabowo Subianto invited all Indonesian people to utilize technology to report corrupt practices in various levels of government. In his statement, he emphasized that budget savings and the use of state funds appropriately are the main priorities of his government. "I will try my hardest so that every budget, every public money, state money must be felt by all Indonesian people, especially the people who need it most," said President Prabowo with full commitment. The President also highlighted the importance of preventing budget leaks and strengthening supervision at all levels of government, from the central to the village. He emphasized that there should be no more corrupt practices or misuse of public funds. "The central, provincial, district, sub-district, and village governments must be clean," he added. In an effort to eradicate corruption, President Prabowo appreciates the involvement of the community. He even often receives direct reports from remote areas. "Sometimes it's tiring, I'm from a remote area and I'm reported directly to the President. I immediately send a team to look into the problem. It's okay, this is good technology," he said. The President appealed to the public not to hesitate to report suspected corruption by recording and sending evidence directly. "If there is corruption, you can immediately video it, record it, and send it immediately. So that people are deterred. If it is the people's money, it must be for the people," he said firmly on Monday, April 7, 2025. With this step, President Prabowo hopes that the public can become active partners in creating a clean and transparent government. Technology, according to him, is a powerful tool to ensure that people's money is truly used for the benefit of the people.
