D'MASIV Performed In Los Angeles To Support Indonesia's Cultural Diplomacy

D’MASIV, a prominent band in Indonesia, has made significant strides on the international stage by delivering an impressive performance at MUSEXPO 2025 in Burbank, California. This event, which is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Los Angeles, also serves as a platform for cultural diplomacy. 

A press release received by ANTARA in Jakarta on Tuesday from Charles F Hutapea, the Creative Economy Consul at the Indonesian Consulate in Los Angeles, highlighted that their participation in this prestigious event, taking place from March 12 to 22, 2025, is a strategic move. MUSEXPO is recognized as a vital forum for leaders in the global music industry. 

The event attracts A&R representatives, labels, promoters, and music supervisors seeking fresh talent from around the world. D’MASIV's involvement underscores the competitive edge of Indonesian music on the international scene and its potential to serve as a robust bridge for cultural diplomacy.  

Rian Ekky Pradipta, the lead vocalist of D’MASIV, expressed his pride in this opportunity, stating, “We are not just here to perform and prepare for our global journey, but also to share the spirit and stories of Indonesia. Their performance at SIR Studio Los Angeles, a venue where legendary artists such as Weezer, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, and Aerosmith have recorded iconic works, showcased their confidence and quality, capturing the attention of global music professionals. The Consul General of Indonesia in Los Angeles, Purnomo A Chandra, expressed his support for D’MASIV's participation in MUSEXPO 2025.
