Taman Mini Indonesia Indah will celebrate Takbiran night by holding a torch parade at the tourist location. "There will be a parade with electric torches on Takbiran night," said Taman Mini Indonesia Indah Commercial Director Ratri Paramita regarding the campaign, when met by ANTARA in Jakarta, Saturday. The Takbiran night celebration at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, said Ratri, will be held from 19:00 to 21:00 in accordance with the operational hours of the tourist location. The next day, on the first day of Eid al-Fitr 1146 Hijriah, TMII will hold their annual agenda, namely Eid al-Fitr prayers together and provide free entrance tickets from 05:00 to 07:00 especially on the first day of Eid. During the Eid holiday season, said Ratri, they sell tickets both online and offline. However, for the sake of the smoothness and comfort of visitors, she suggests buying tickets online. "It's easier (to buy tickets) online because you just have to show the barcode," said Ratri. Ratri is targeting hundreds of thousands of visitors to come to the location during the month of Ramadan and 3.8 million visitors in total for this year. The Ministry of Transportation estimates that this year's Lebaran homecoming travelers will number 146.48 million people or around 52 percent of Indonesia's population. This number is down 24 percent compared to the number of travelers last year, which was 193.6 million people. Meanwhile, to boost tourism during the Lebaran holiday season, the Ministry of Tourism is echoing the #MudikYuk campaign to invite people to explore tourist destinations along the homecoming route or in their hometowns, as well as #LebaranDiJakartaAJa to invite people who live outside Jakarta to travel to the city. The Ministry of Tourism also predicts that Jakarta will be crowded with tourists during the Lebaran holiday season because it has various tourist destinations and access to the city is relatively easy, for example via toll roads.
