Investment In The 5G Industry Faces Challenges In Indonesia

The development and adoption of digital technology have been identified by Marwan O. Baasir, the Secretary General of the Indonesian Telecommunications Providers Association (ATSI), as a crucial sector in advancing Indonesia's digital economy to support the target of 8% economic growth. 

Marwan also emphasized the importance of utilizing technology to support various government programs, including the free nutritious food initiative. Through technological applications, data related to the distribution of the nutritious food program can be effectively monitored. 

On another note, in efforts to promote advancements in telecommunications technology, including 5G, ATSI has highlighted the significance of encouraging foreign investment in Indonesia.
