Lion Air Is Now Flying New Routes From Surabaya To Ambon And Sorong

Lion Air has announced the launch of two new routes connecting Surabaya with two amazing destinations in Eastern Indonesia, namely Ambon and Sorong. The inaugural flights are scheduled to start on June 21, 2024.

With an extensive flight network connection, people now have a new option to travel, do business, or visit family easily through Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, Sidoarjo, East Java (SUB), to:

- Maluku through Pattimura Airport in Ambon (AMQ) non-stop.

- Southwest Papua through Dominique Eduard Osok Airport in Sorong (SOQ) with a layover in Ambon.

These new routes offer new services for residents, business people, and tourists from Ambon and surrounding areas to travel round trip between Sorong and Surabaya using modern Boeing 737-800NG (189 seats in economy class) and Boeing 737-900ER (215 seats in economy class) aircraft.
