In order to achieve this goal, the Directorate General of Small, Medium and Miscellaneous Industries (IKMA), in synergy with the National Craft Council (Dekranas) has organized Assistance for Motif Development and Natural Coloring at the Padangsidimpuan Weaving SMI Center last March-April 2024. This activity is part of the Road to 44th Dekranas Anniversary agenda in Solo City. ""Therefore, the Ministry of Industry and Dekranas collaborate to carry out this activity to improve the competence of human resources (human resources) of crafters so that their competitiveness will increase,"" said Deputy Daily Chairperson I of Dekranas, Loemongga Agus Gumiwang in Jakarta. According to Loemongga, every region in Indonesia has a superior wastra product that is characterized and continues to grow. One of them is Padangsidimpuan City, which is located in the North Sumatra Province, known to have the potential of woven fabrics with a variety of patterns or motifs that depict symbols of the ancestral cultural attributes of the Padangsidimpuan people. Seeing this potential, the Ministry of Industry together with Dekranas seeks to develop businesses and improve the lives of crafters who synergize with various parties. ""This collaboration is a joint effort to increase the capacity of business actors in product development and improve the quality of competitive products. This is in line with the spirit of the 44th Dekranas Anniversary which carries the theme 'Grow Together, Advance the Nation's Heritage',"" continued Loemongga."
