Sheila On 7 Has Finally Released A New Single Titled "Sheila On 7 ."

After six years since the release of the song 'Film Favorit', Sheila on 7 has returned with a new work to conclude the year 2024, titled 'Memori Baik', which was made available on digital music platforms on Monday, November 25, 2024.

Eross Candra, Akhdiyat Duta Modjo, and Adam Muhammad Subarkah have launched this new single, with its lyric video also released simultaneously on the Sheila on 7 TV YouTube channel. The official music video will follow shortly. Generally, 'Memori Baik' presents a distinct departure from Sheila on 7's previous songs. While earlier tracks predominantly focused on romantic themes, 'Memori Baik' conveys a more emotional narrative, reflecting the love and care that parents have for their children.

Eross explained, "What you hear now is quite specific. It emphasizes that parents, at some point, must let go of their children as they grow up and forge their own paths in life. That is the essence." Duta added that the lyrics of 'Memori Baik' can be interpreted as a reminder that everyone, sooner or later, must prepare themselves to accept the reality that their loved ones be it family, friends, or childhood companions will eventually navigate their own lives with their own stories and methods.

“The narrative in 'Memori Baik' illustrates how parents strive to come to terms with the fact that their children have matured and are beginning to shape their own struggles and life stories. Everything can change over time, and ultimately, it will always become a memory,” Duta elaborated.

Eross shared that 'Memori Baik' was conceived approximately four years ago, during the pandemic. Initially, the lyrics did not focus on the memories of parents regarding their children, but rather addressed different themes.
