BSI Targets Gold Transactions Of Up To Rp15 Billion During The International Expo

PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) aims to achieve gold transaction targets exceeding Rp15 billion during the BSI International Expo 2025 in Jakarta, scheduled for June 26-29, 2025.

Through this expo, the company offers access to a variety of gold products for visitors, ranging from BSI Emas via BYOND by BSI, physical gold purchases, to gold installment plans with attractive promotions.

Anton Sukarna, the Director of Sales & Distribution at BSI, stated in Jakarta on Wednesday that investing in gold through BSI is not merely about saving precious metals, but is part of a broader financial management strategy that aligns with Sharia principles.

"We aim to change the public's mindset from storing gold at home to securely keeping it in a bank, which can even be used as collateral for financing. Thus, it is not just an investment, but also offers long-term benefits," Anton remarked.

He further explained that all gold transactions at BSI are conducted in grams to facilitate the public in planning their investments.

"There is no need to purchase in large quantities. Starting with just 0.1 grams, individuals can invest in gold in a manner that is both sharia-compliant and trustworthy," stated Anton.

The difference between the buying and selling prices of gold at BSI ranges from 5 to 9 percent. This makes BSI's gold products not only competitive but also transparent.

Anton noted that there are over 150,000 active customers holding gold at BSI as of mid-2025. This figure has more than doubled compared to the previous year. This number reflects the growing interest of the public in BSI's sharia-compliant gold products.

During the BSI International Expo 2025, BSI is offering various promotions for visitors who open a BSI Emas account and purchase a minimum of 1 gram of gold, which includes BSI Bank Emas merchandise and an Azko voucher worth Rp50,000.

For purchases of a minimum of 10 grams of gold, customers will receive a mini gold gift weighing 0.1 grams. Additionally, there are shopping vouchers worth Rp500,000 available exclusively for the first 10 visitors each day who buy 5 grams of gold during the flash sale hours.

BSI also offers a special promotion that includes waiving administrative fees and providing a special margin, along with direct gifts for certain transactions related to Cicil Emas.

In addition, visitors can enjoy free gold cleaning services by bringing their jewelry to the expo location.

"Through various conveniences and attractive promotions at the BSI International Expo 2025, we hope that the public will become increasingly interested in utilizing Sharia gold services, without the hassle of storing it themselves or worrying about its security," concluded Anton.
