PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) concluded 2024 by launching the go live Proof of Concept (POC) for Digitalization of Port Operations and officially opened the Operation Command Center Room on Tuesday (31/12) at PTK's headquarters in North Jakarta. This go live event is part of the transformation and standardization of the marine terminal processes managed by PTK. The POC for Digitalization of Port Operations is an integrated system that operates on web and mobile applications, covering all activities at the marine terminal from the arrival of ships to the completion of operations. This application utilizes standardized data analytics within the governance system (STK), allowing all activity reports to be recorded and accessed in real-time. Implementing the POC for Digitalization of Port Operations is expected to positively impact marine terminal operations, particularly by reducing marine costs, speeding up billing, and achieving the Integrated Port Time (IPT) target, which is the time required for a ship to dock. Yudi Wibosono, the Operations Director of PTK, conducted the Go Live event and stated that the POC for Digitalization of Port Operations is a step towards accelerating digitalization and is part of the transformation of the Subholding Integrated Marine Logistics (SH IML). “The POC for Digitalization of Port Operations is a strategic move by PTK to enhance operational standardization at the managed marine terminals. This system allows for effective management of all marine terminals and adds value to the company, especially in customer service. Every action taken at the marine terminal, whether by agencies or other services, is digitally recorded and can be accessed live,” said Yudi Wibisono. The system includes 16 modules that facilitate users in executing operational processes according to standardized workflows. This ensures that all application users, whether working in the office or in the field, meet the established standards, including Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE). This application is also linked to the newly inaugurated Operation Command Center Room at the PTK headquarters by Yudi Wibisono, allowing all marine and port activities to be monitored at the company management level. During this event, PTK's CEO I Ketut Laba praised the swift innovation of the POC Digitalization Port Operation and the opening of the Operation Command Center Room. The implementation of the POC Digitalization Port Operation application also received recognition from PT Pertamina Internasional Shipping (PIS). Arief Sukmara, the Director of Gas, Petrochemicals, and New Business, stated that this innovation is a year-end gift for SH IML. “POC Digitalization Port Operation is a remarkable initiative that deserves appreciation. Thank you to the management and all team members involved in creating this application. We hope it can be implemented across all PTK marine terminals and inspire further innovations,” concluded Arief Sukmara.
