Unilever Indonesia Announces A Dividend Payment Ratio Of 111% In The Annual General Meeting

Unilever Indonesia held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) and Public Presentation in a hybrid format at the Unilever Indonesia Headquarters, Grha Unilever BSD, and broadcasted virtually. The agenda discussed included the reappointment of the Board of Directors, the company's financial performance for the full year of 2023 (audited), dividend announcement, and business strategy to remain competitive in the future. In 2023, the company recorded a net sales of Rp38.6 trillion, a net profit of Rp4.8 trillion, and an increased gross margin of 346 bps compared to 2022.

The Dividend Payout Ratio is 111%.

During the AGM, it was determined that the final dividend for the 2023 fiscal year is Rp77 (seventy-seven Rupiah) per share, with a total amount of Rp2,937,550,000,000.00 (two trillion nine hundred thirty-seven billion five hundred fifty million Rupiah). This final dividend is taken from the net profit of 2023 and retained earnings from previous years. The final dividend will be distributed no later than July 18, 2024.

The company has already distributed an interim dividend for the 2023 fiscal year, amounting to Rp63 (sixty-three Rupiah) per share or a total of Rp2,403,450,000,000.00 (two trillion four hundred three billion four hundred fifty million Rupiah), to the shareholders whose names are listed in the company's shareholder register as of December 8, 2023, at 16:00 WIB. Therefore, the total dividend for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, is Rp140 (one hundred forty Rupiah) per share or a total of Rp5,341,000,000,000.00 (five trillion three hundred forty-one billion Rupiah). The overall dividend amount for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, is the same as the total dividend amount distributed for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022. Simplifying the Organization for Agility

Unilever Indonesia also announced today a more streamlined composition of the Board of Directors to ensure faster and more efficient decision-making processes. "An efficient organization will enable us to be more agile in responding to consumer trends and sales channels, while maintaining strong accountability in achieving our goals," said Benjie. The latest composition of the Unilever Indonesia Board of Directors is as follows:

• Vivek Agarwal, Director

• Ainul Yaqin, Director

• Enny Hartati Sampurno, Director

• Hernie Raharja, Director

• Willy Saelan, Director

Nurdiana Darus (Ade) will be proposed for appointment as President Director of Unilever Enterprises Indonesia (UEI), subject to approval from UEI shareholders, while continuing her senior role with Unilever Indonesia as Head of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs. Amaryllis Esti Wijono (Lilis) will also hold a senior position as General Manager of Nutrition for Unilever Indonesia, focusing on driving competitive and profitable growth, as well as market development in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Hira Triadi has resigned to explore other opportunities outside the company. "We thank Hira for his contributions and wish him health and success in his future endeavors. We also fully support Ade and Lilis as they embark on a new chapter in their journey with the company."
