Here Are The Winners Of The Ericsson Hackathon 2024!

After a selection and judging process, Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has partnered with the Ministry of Industry, PIDI 4.0, the Ministry of Communication and Digital, the Innovation and Learning Center, Swiss German University, and KORIKA to announce the three winners of the Ericsson Hackathon 2024. The announcement took place at the PIDI 4.0 office, naming Molca Group as the first winner, Mentos Group from the University of Indonesia as the second, and OpenMachine Group as the third.

The three winning teams developed innovations focusing on three main evaluation aspects: originality of innovation, technical excellence, and project profitability. The winners were selected through a rigorous assessment by four prominent judges, including Prima Widya Putri, Head of Service Delivery at Ericsson Indonesia; Carlos Karo Karo, Digital Transformation Expert; Dr. Tanika D Sofianti, Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering at Swiss German University; and Ir. Alexander Ludi, MBA, Director of AI Venture at KORIKA.

Krishna Patil, Head of Ericsson Indonesia, expressed pride in the innovations created by the participants of the Ericsson Hackathon 2024. He stated that Ericsson highly appreciates the winners for their original innovations that address challenges in Indonesia's manufacturing industry. This hackathon reflects their commitment to innovation in the manufacturing sector, leveraging the power of Gen AI and advanced 5G technology.

Drs. Masrokhan, Head of the Human Resource Development Agency for Industry (BPSDMI), expressed hope that the strategic collaboration among PIDI 4.0 partners will continue to produce transformation programs and strengthen human resources and technology 4.0 in Indonesia.

The Ericsson Hackathon 2024 today has helped young people and innovators in Indonesia to better use Generative AI and 5G broadband. This supports increased productivity in the manufacturing industry and promotes sustainable industrial development.
