Planet Ban, a committed automotive company to implementing sustainable business principles in its various operations, continues to emphasize its contribution in reducing motorcycle exhaust gas emissions.

According to research findings, Planet Ban's New Engine Feel Service has successfully reduced hydrocarbon (HC) emissions by up to 67 percent and carbon monoxide (CO) emissions by up to 73 percent. As a realization of the company's sustainable business initiative, Planet Ban has successfully encouraged more than 1 million motorcycle riders to maintain their motorcycles using the New Engine Feel Service.

Throughout 2023, Planet Ban has maintained the condition and performance of customers' motorcycle engines to remain optimal and ensured minimal exhaust gas emissions through the New Engine Feel Service provided to 1,158,413 riders across Indonesia.

This achievement serves as a driving force for Planet Ban to continue its sustainable initiatives in reducing exhaust gas emissions for motorcycle riders throughout Indonesia.

Planet Ban's Chief Operating Officer, Deden Hendra Shakti, explained, "We believe that reducing vehicle exhaust emissions must start with the public's awareness to regularly maintain their own vehicles. By performing regular maintenance, we can ensure that the engine functions optimally and efficiently, thus reducing harmful exhaust gas emissions.

The New Engine Feel Service will not only ensure that motorcycles have maximum performance but will also significantly reduce the emissions produced by motor vehicles."

The New Engine Taste service, available at 1,169 Planet Ban outlets throughout Indonesia, targets many users. This has a positive impact in helping to reduce fuel consumption and keeping the engine in prime condition so that the resulting exhaust gas emissions can be lower.

The effort to reduce vehicle emissions is part of the implementation of sustainable initiatives that form the basis of Planet Ban's commitment to conducting business in an environmentally friendly manner.

Furthermore, Planet Ban has implemented several other important initiatives to support zero emission and zero waste commitments, including the management of waste oil and motorcycle tires along with their plastic packaging, the use of environmentally friendly materials for motorcycle parts, and the development of service and Battery Swap Station for electric motorcycle users at several Planet Ban outlets.

"We are ready to continue these efforts for the next 1 million motorcycles and beyond. Our commitment is to continue delivering the best motorcycle performance for riders and actively contribute to preserving the environment for our planet. Planet Ban will continue to introduce various sustainable initiatives as part of our business." Deden concluded.
