The Indonesian Post
Lexus Indonesia is one of the brands participating in GIIAS 2025, which will begin on August 24, 2025. A short video previewing the car that will be on display via its official Instagram account shows a boxy SUV silhouette. If you notice, the car referred to as "The Master" here is the Lexus LX. Previously, the LX 600 was launched in Indonesia in 2022 with a price tag of around IDR 3 billion. Referring to the word "evolution," the latest LX model to be showcased at GIIAS will likely be the LX 700h. The difference is that this Lexus flagship SUV will use a hybrid drivetrain. It features a 3,400cc V6 turbo-hybrid engine, producing 457 hp and 790 Nm of torque from 2,000 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds, and its claimed fuel economy is 8.5 km/l on a combined route (city and toll road). Power is channeled to all wheels via a 10-speed Direct-Shift transmission with paddle shifters. It features full-time all-wheel drive with electronic front, center, and rear differential locks. Curious about the price of the Lexus LX 700h in Indonesia? Could it still be around IDR 3 billion, like the LX 600 launched three years ago?
