Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid Ready To Launch At GIIAS 2025

Two days before the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), Daihatsu brought the Rocky Hybrid to the ICE BSD, Tangerang. This time, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) introduced the Rocky Hybrid not only for market research but also for domestic marketing. Based on direct observations at the exhibition site on Monday (July 21, 2025), the Rocky Hybrid immediately attracted attention as one of the models in the booth, alongside the e Hijet Concept. 

Although still under wraps, it's strongly suspected that this car is the Rocky Hybrid. 

This is evident from the 16-inch single-tone rims and the "Rocky" emblem on the rear, which was briefly revealed when Kompas.com editors observed the car at the exhibition. Furthermore, the car was displayed in the most strategic location in the Daihatsu booth area, namely the front row, adjacent to the Astra Financial booth and the Chery booth. 

This car is rumored to be imported directly from Japan as a CBU (completely built up), with an estimated price of around Rp 300 million. "That's right (Rocky Hybrid was launched at GIIAS), it is already on sale and orders can be placed. The estimated price is Rp 300 million," said a Daihatsu sales representative to Kompas.com recently. Regarding its specifications, the Rocky Hybrid relies on a 1,200 cc WA-VEX engine, which acts as a generator for the electric motor that is the main driver.
