Sky Explorer, Mitsubishi Motors' New Way Of Introducing New Cars

PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) has established a strategic partnership with Garuda Indonesia and Tahilalats through a program titled 'Sky Explorer'. This cross-platform collaborative campaign is part of Mitsubishi Motors' latest model launch strategy. 

The collaboration, which will run from July to December 2025, presents synergy from the automotive and aviation industries, together with the power of local pop culture, to create a more integrated and rich customer experience. 

"We are proud to collaborate with Garuda Indonesia—a symbol of national pride and a trusted airline for the Indonesian people—and Tahilalats, a very popular local pop-culture creative IP, in the Sky Explorer campaign," explained President Director of PT MMKSI Atsushi Kurita in his official statement. 

As part of this collaboration, Mitsubishi Motors will be present at various Garuda Indonesia passenger touch points through attractive Sky Explorer content during the period July–September 2025, including boarding pass sleeves, luggage tags, paper cups, headrest covers, in-flight cabin announcements, and exclusive content on the inflight entertainment system. 

In addition, there is also a special article about the latest Mitsubishi Motors model published in Garuda Indonesia's Colors magazine, August 2025 edition. 

Passengers can also learn more about this latest model through a special booklet designed by Tahilalats available on the Sky Explorer-themed aircraft and certain Garuda Indonesia lounges. 

In addition to assets on Garuda Indonesia aircraft, this collaboration will also be present at the Mitsubishi Motors booth at GIIAS 2025, through a special customer lounge "Sky Explorer" which welcomes visitors with a lounge concept and exclusive programs specially designed for this collaboration. 

Tahilalats will also present various exclusive content featuring the latest Mitsubishi Motors models, to reach their large fan community. 

In order to socialize new products, MMKSI will also present a special display and test drive booth at the Garuda Indonesia head office, providing a direct opportunity for crew and employees to experience the advantages and performance of the latest model. 

According to Kurita, this collaboration is part of the strategy to introduce the latest Mitsubishi Motors model, not only as a vehicle, but as part of the lifestyle of today's dynamic generation. 

"Through this synergy, we want to establish a more personal, relevant, and memorable connection with consumers. Most importantly, this initiative allows us to contribute to Indonesia's creative ecosystem, by supporting local IP that has great potential,"
