GIIAS 2025 Exhibition Held On July 24, 63 Automotive Industry Brands Take Part

The 32nd annual automotive exhibition Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) will be held on July 24 to August 3, 2025 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City. 

Gaikindo General Chairman, Yohanes Nangoi revealed that this year's exhibition GIIAS received great enthusiasm from exhibitors. 

"Quite large, considering the number of exhibitors' enthusiasm and the size of the exhibition itself. I see that 63 participants will join the exhibition this time," said Nangoi on the sidelines of the GIIAS press conference in the South Jakarta area, Wednesday (6/18/2025). 

Nangoi revealed that a total of 43 vehicle brands took part. The number consists of 39 passenger cars and 4 commercial vehicles. 

In addition, there are also 4 body builders who also took part in GIIAS 2025. Furthermore, there are motorcycles totaling 16 brands. 

"I think the GIIAS 2025 exhibition is the largest and most comprehensive car exhibition in the world, outside of China that can be held by Indonesia," he said. 

Furthermore, Nagoi hopes that the presence of the GIIAS 2025 automotive event will be able to stimulate the automotive industry in the country. 

"Next month with GIIAS, we hope that the domestic market will improve. May has shown improvement, there has been a fairly good increase compared to the previous month, hopefully in June the increase will continue," he concluded.
