VinFast VF6 Launched, Sold Starting At IDR 384 Million

VinFast officially launched one of its best-selling electric vehicle products in the domestic market, the VinFast VF6 on Tuesday (6/5/2025). Without a special ceremony, this launch is a strategic step for the company to accelerate its expansion in Indonesia. "The VF6 is an electric SUV in the B segment which is one of the most popular vehicle segments in the country," said VinFast Asia CEO Pham Sanh Chau in his statement. 

Consisting of two variants, the car is priced at IDR 384,995,000 for the VF6 Eco and IDR 439,600,000 for its top model, the VF6 Plus. Both are scheduled to start shipping in June 2025. 

The presence of the VF6 will expand VinFast's product line in Indonesia after previously launching the VF3, VF5, and VF e34. People who place orders before June 30, 2025 have the opportunity to get cashback worth IDR 20,000,000. "VF6 is an important part of the development of VinFast's electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia," he said. He also emphasized the company's commitment to making electric vehicles accessible to all groups, which is reflected in the integrated green mobility ecosystem and VinFast's rapidly growing charging network. In its specification sheet, this car is considered quite suitable for road conditions in Indonesia, with a length of 4,241 mm, a width of 1,834 mm, and a height of 1,580 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2,730 mm, with a ground clearance of 170 mm. "VF6 has a ground clearance of 170 mm which is certainly quite capable for roads in Indonesia because it can pass on both on-road and semi-off-road roads," said Deputy CEO Sales and Network Development VinFast Indonesia, Davy Jeffry Tuilan on a separate occasion. As for some of its technologies, this car has a series of ADAS features. For example, highway assist level 2, lane centering assist, adaptive centering assist, adaptive cruise control, or emergency lane keep assist. In addition, this car certainly has standard safety features, such as ABS, EBD, BA, ESC, TCS, HSA, ESS, and others. For performance, the VF6 is claimed to be able to travel up to 480 km on a single full charge. While the power produced reaches 201 hp with a peak torque of 310 Nm.
