Recently, PT Sokonindo Automobile displayed its latest electric car product, the Seres E3. This electric SUV is still covered in camouflage and is expected to be officially released at a major automotive exhibition in the middle of this year. According to Cing Hok Rifin, Director of Sales Center PT Sokonindo Automobile, the Seres E3 will be introduced at the mid-year automotive exhibition. Meanwhile, the preview for the model and orders will be opened at the PEVS (Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show) 2025 in April. "We have done the development, and the prototype is final and ready for production. Later at PEVS 2025 we will pre-launch," said Cing Hok in Jakarta, Monday, (24/03). This electric car is predicted to come with a more competitive price compared to its rivals such as the BYD Atto 3 and Omoda E5. Local production at the Sokonindo facility in Cikande, Banten, also helps reduce production costs. Seres E3 Specifications In terms of appearance, this camouflage-wrapped car has a modern and elegant style. The size is quite large, but feels compact. Based on the specification data from its country of origin, this car is available in two variants. The dimensions are 4,385 mm long, 1,850 mm wide, 1,650 mm high. Then the wheelbase is 2,655 mm and the ground clearance is 180 mm. The Seres E3 cabin offers a modern design with quality materials. Some of its main features include: Dashboard with soft-touch material and chrome accents Multifunction steering wheel covered in synthetic leather 10.25-inch digital instrument screen Automatic AC with air vents in the back row Although it is equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System) as a safety feature, the number is not too much. From the unit data in China, only Lane Departure Warning System, Front Collision Warning and Adaptive Passing and Driving Beams are available. Maybe the model that will be marketed here can be more complete.
