PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) is dedicated to introducing environmentally friendly vehicles to the Indonesian automotive market. This commitment was demonstrated through the launch of the Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) technology, which took place in Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday, March 24, 2025.

The CSH technology is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) that provides exceptional fuel efficiency. Notably, Indonesia will be the first country to unveil the inaugural CSH model with a right-hand drive configuration.

Rifkie Setiawan, Head of the Brand Department at PT CSI, emphasized that the Chery Super Hybrid represents an innovative breakthrough, particularly in the hybrid segment, offering enhanced power and improved energy efficiency compared to conventional hybrids. "This technology is powered by an advanced engine that delivers torque of up to 920 Nm and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds (as seen in the Tiggo 9 AWD). It has also demonstrated the capability to travel 1,186 km from Jakarta to Bali without the need for recharging or refueling (in the Tiggo 8)," he explained.

The Chery Super Hybrid is equipped with the ACTECO Engine H4J15, which boasts a thermal efficiency of 44.5 percent and a fuel consumption rate of over 76 km/liter.

Additionally, it features the Stepless Super Hybrid DHT, which achieves mechanical efficiency of up to 98.5 percent while adhering to the highest safety standards. The lithium iron phosphate battery, rated IP68, complements this system by being resistant to water, dust, and extreme temperatures up to 95°C, and it can charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 20 minutes.

He also assured that the CSH is equipped with anti-stalling technology to prevent sudden shutdowns at high speeds.

"Overall, the Chery Super Hybrid delivers High Energy Efficiency, High Performance, High Safety, and High Intelligence, reflecting our commitment and seriousness in bringing technological innovations to several future Chery products, specifically for the Chery Family in Indonesia," he added.
