End-of-Year Discounts On LMPV Exceed Rp 40 Million

The family vehicle designed for seven passengers, commonly referred to as a Low Multi-Purpose Vehicle (LMPV), continues to be a highly favored option among consumers. Its spacious cabin and comprehensive features serve as significant attractions. Buyers can take advantage of special offers, including discounts provided by various dealers for LMPV purchases at the end of this year. According to observations by Kompas.com across all brands selling related vehicles, the discounts vary widely, ranging from IDR 15 million to IDR 40 million.

The list begins with the best-selling LMPVs, namely the Toyota Avanza and Toyota Veloz. These two vehicles are essentially of the same type, differing only in model, with Veloz being the higher variant. A Toyota sales representative indicated that the discount for the Avanza as the year concludes can reach approximately IDR 25 million, while the Veloz offers a larger discount of IDR 35 million. This discrepancy is attributed to the significant price difference of around IDR 11 million. "We can also provide a discount for the Avanza, but it is lower than that of the Veloz, which is IDR 25 million for all models (with initial prices ranging from IDR 239 million to IDR 275.7 million)," the representative stated to Kompas.com on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Meanwhile, despite limited unit availability, a Honda salesperson mentioned that the discount for the Mobilio has now reached IDR 20 million, although dealers need to verify the availability of VIN 2024.

The discount amounts are similar for the Suzuki Ertiga. A Suzuki car dealer in Jakarta noted that consumers are entitled to an end-of-year discount for each purchase. "The automatic Ertiga discount ranges from IDR 26.5 million to IDR 28.5 million from the initial OTR Jakarta price," he remarked. In contrast, the Daihatsu Xenia, which is a counterpart to the Avanza, offers only a modest discount of IDR 15 million. The same amount applies to the Mitsubishi Xpander. It is important to note that the Xenia is priced between IDR 224.4 million and IDR 292.5 million OTR DKI Jakarta.

The largest discounts for LMPVs are offered for the Wuling Confero, amounting to IDR 35 million, and the Nissan Livina, which reaches IDR 40 million.
