Jokowi: There's A Political Agenda Behind The Diploma Case

Former President Jokowi has spoken out again about the widespread accusations against him regarding a fake diploma. Jokowi stated that the issue is not merely a personal attack, but part of a larger political agenda aimed at tarnishing his reputation following his resignation from the presidency. 

Met at his residence in Surakarta, Central Java, former President Jokowi suspected that there was a larger political agenda to downgrade him behind the fake diploma rumors. Furthermore, Jokowi felt that the impeachment issue involving his son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, was also part of this political agenda. 

"I have a feeling that there does seem to be a larger political agenda. Behind these rumors are fake diplomas, impeachment issues," Jokowi said. 

However, Jokowi stated that all the political pressure does not deter him. Regarding the diploma case, the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia stated that he is ready to prove the authenticity of his diploma in a formal forum, namely in court. 

"Well, for me, it's just normal," he added.
