Gerindra: Prabowo Cabinet Is Compact, Asta Cita Runs Smoothly

The Gerindra Party emphasized that President Prabowo Subianto's current cabinet shows high solidarity in running the government. Gerindra Party politician Hendarsam Marantoko assessed that all ministers are moving in one line to realize Asta Cita, the main vision and mission of Prabowo's government. 

"If you say solid, this is real proof of solidity in working. There are no personal programs of ministers, all are in sync with the president's agenda," said Hendarsam in a discussion in Jakarta, Saturday (5/31/2025). 

According to Hendarsam, one of the most obvious manifestations of cabinet solidarity is the successful implementation of the free nutritious meal (MBG) program. This program is not only run by one ministry, but involves cross-sector cooperation. 

The details are, such as the TNI which helps with distribution, the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) which designs nutritional standards, and the regional government which is tasked with being the technical implementer in the field. "This is a real example of collaboration between ministries that is going well. They don't clash with each other, they complement each other," he added. 

Another program that demonstrates collaboration between agencies is strengthening national food security, which is a major priority for President Prabowo. Starting from the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Defense, to BUMN, all are working together to create strategic food barns. 

Hendarsam did not deny that many parties had doubted the effectiveness of the cabinet which was considered "fat" because it consisted of many political parties and interests. However, he emphasized that under Prabowo's leadership, these differences could be woven into one strong command. 

"Prabowo knows how to lead this big team. He is a commander who can unite everyone for the people," said Hendarsam. 

Asta Cita, Prabowo's eight priority programs, are the work guidelines for all ministries. From education, food, health, to the economy, all are directed towards achieving people's prosperity. Gerindra is optimistic that this unity will continue to be maintained and accelerate Indonesia's transformation into a developed country.
