The Minister Of Home Affairs Stated That The Satisfaction Observed Within The First 100 Days Of Prabowo's Leadership Reflects The Trust Of The People

The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto, has expressed that the high level of public satisfaction regarding the first 100 days of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's administration reflects the public's trust in the performance of the Merah Putih Cabinet.

"We interpret this as a public appreciation for the conduct of the elections and regional elections, as the most notable events within the first 100 days, or three months, are certainly the series of regional elections," Bima stated in a press release in Jakarta on Friday.

According to a survey conducted by Litbang Kompas, released in January 2025, the overall public satisfaction with Prabowo's administration during its initial 100 days reached 80.9 percent.

In particular, the political and security sectors received the highest satisfaction ratings, at 85 percent, compared to other areas.

He believes that the high satisfaction levels in politics and security are closely linked to the successful and peaceful conduct of the 2024 General Elections and Regional Elections.

Furthermore, Bima emphasized that this achievement is the result of the hard work of many stakeholders, including the General Election Commission (KPU), the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), the Honorary Council of Election Organizers (DKPP), as well as the TNI and Polri forces.

Thanks to the collaboration of all elements, citizens were able to exercise their political rights safely and smoothly.

"The public appreciates how we, as a nation, have navigated a very complex process and prioritized unity amidst diversity as a fundamental value," he remarked.

He noted that the success of the regional elections not only ensures political stability but also enhances public trust in the government.

Therefore, he encourages all parties to contribute to discussions regarding the revision of the Regional Election Law and the evaluation of the simultaneous election system.

He added that these discussions will involve various stakeholders, including the House of Representatives, students, and community leaders.
