Monday, 16 Dec 2024

Candidate for governor number 3, Pramono Anung, is currently organizing a transition team to prepare for his first 100 days in office as the leader of Jakarta. Pramono stated that this transition team will work to fulfill several of his political promises made during the 2024 gubernatorial campaign. "Before the inauguration, I will certainly establish a transition team to prepare for my first 100 days of governance," Pramono remarked in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The PDI Perjuangan politician did not disclose the members of the transition team but mentioned that it would consist of individuals who have been instrumental in his campaign efforts.

"These will be the people who have supported me regarding the substance of my plans. They understand my thought process, my desires, and so forth. An official announcement will be made later," Pramono added. He emphasized the necessity of forming this transition team to ensure he can work effectively from day one after his inauguration. "I do not want to start working without any knowledge; I need to be fully informed," he stated. One of Pramono's priorities will be to address the data collection related to various assistance programs, such as the Jakarta Smart Card and the Jakarta Healthy Card.

"This is crucial. For nearly two years, Jakarta has lacked a definitive governor, and I believe that the data collection needs improvement," Pramono expressed. It is noteworthy that the Jakarta Election Commission has confirmed that the candidate pair number 3, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, won the Jakarta gubernatorial election in a single round with 50.07 percent of the votes. According to the recapitulation results, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono received 1,718,160 votes, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana garnered 459,230 votes, while Pramono Anung-Rano Karno secured 2,183,239 votes.
