MenPAN-RB Introduces 15 Strategies For Corruption Prevention For The 2025-2026 Period

Tuesday, 10 Dec 2024

The Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Rini Widyantini, has introduced 15 anti-corruption measures to be implemented during the 2025-2026 period. The formulation of these measures is grounded in two primary principles: the utilization of digital instruments and alignment with the aspirations of the President and Vice President.

She elaborated on the first principle, which involves leveraging digital tools within the framework of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) to enhance and streamline public services, thereby making oversight more measurable and transparent.

The second principle ensures that the objectives outlined in the aspirations of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka are integrated into these actions. Rini made this statement during her address at the launch of the Anti-Corruption Prevention Actions for 2025-2026, coinciding with the opening of the International Anti-Corruption Day 2024 in Jakarta today.

"In the context of digitalization and standardization of public services, the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK) supports the third aspiration, particularly point 8, which pertains to the elimination of bureaucratic and regulatory obstacles to business growth, as well as point 11, which emphasizes the importance of digital connectivity across all regions to reach all segments of society," Rini stated in a written statement on Monday, December 9, 2024.

She also reported on the achievements of the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention over the past six years. According to Rini, the National Team for Stranas PK has facilitated remarkable changes, with progress updates being reported to the President every six months.

Rini detailed that the government has issued the Domestic Manifest policy through Minister of Trade Regulation No. 27/2024 concerning Inter-Island Trade, which mandates business operators to declare their cargo lists. This policy, advocated by Stranas PK, enables the tracking of essential commodities across various locations, thereby preventing businesses from hoarding goods that could lead to shortages.
