Jakarta - The Indonesian government is set to significantly expand its network of integrated public service centers in a major push to make state services more accessible and efficient. Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), Rini Widyantini, will officiate the launch of nine new Public Service Malls (Mal Pelayanan Publik or MPP) across nine different provinces in a simultaneous ceremony.

This mass inauguration, scheduled for Monday, December 15, 2025, represents a strategic expansion of the government's frontline service delivery system. The addition of these nine new MPPs will increase the national total from 296 to 305, extending the reach of integrated, one-stop public services to more communities throughout the archipelago.

The new centers are located in Kabupaten Aceh Barat; Kabupaten Batu Bara; Kabupaten Bintan; Kabupaten Batang Hari; Kabupaten Way Kanan; Kabupaten Cianjur; Kabupaten Balangan; Kabupaten Malinau; and Kabupaten Buol. Their establishment underscores a continuous commitment to decentralizing and improving the quality of bureaucratic services for citizens.

In the same event, Minister Widyantini will also preside over the awarding of the 2025 Outstanding Public Service Innovations (OPSI). This ceremony honors exemplary projects from the Public Service Innovation Competition (KIPP) 2025, which involved various ministries, agencies, regional government-owned enterprises (BUMD), and local governments.

Deputy Minister for Public Services at PANRB, Otok Kuswandaru, stated that these two major agendas form a cohesive strategy for national transformation. He emphasized that innovation in public service and the physical development of MPPs are two reinforcing pillars in the broader effort to overhaul how citizens interact with the state.

The 2025 KIPP cycle, which commenced on March 21, has now concluded with the selection of 28 standout innovations. The winners comprise 25 projects in the General Group and 3 in the Replication Group, all recognized for delivering tangible impacts and supporting national priority programs.

Deputy Minister Kuswandaru highlighted that the winning innovations reflect a necessary adaptation to the digital era, where technology is crucial for creating public services that are superior, faster, and transparent. He stressed the importance of scaling up these successful models to maximize their benefits for the entire population.

The joint ceremony for the MPP inaugurations and the OPSI 2025 awards will be broadcast live to the public via the Kementerian PANRB YouTube channel, starting at 09:00 Western Indonesia Time. This event marks a tangible step in the government's mission to build a more responsive, innovative, and service-oriented bureaucracy.
