Sorong, July 14, 2025 — PT Pembiayaan Digital Indonesia (AdaKami) is participating in the Fintech Lending Days (FLD) 2025 event organized by the Indonesian Peer-to-Peer Lending Association (AFPI) in Sorong, West Papua, under the theme "Driving Local Economy: Synergy of MSMEs in Eastern Indonesia with Pindar." Supported by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), this event aims to enhance public literacy and understanding—especially among MSME players and students—regarding the use of digital funding (pindar) as a safe, accessible, and responsible financing solution. The event series began with a ceremony attended by various stakeholders, including pindar organizers, supporting ecosystem companies, MSME players, the financial services industry, local communities, and academic circles in Sorong and its surroundings. As part of the FLD 2025 activities, AFPI and OJK conducted field visits to several local businesses in Sorong to directly observe the microeconomic activities that are the backbone of the economy in West Papua. Businesses such as food, handicrafts, and ecotourism were the focus of these visits. In the same spirit, AdaKami accompanied the visits to local businesses and shared insights on the importance of responsible funding distribution and the consumer protection features implemented on its platform. This underscores AdaKami's commitment to supporting inclusive economic empowerment by providing access to safe and responsible financial services. The FLD 2025 series also includes an educational session on campus titled "Pindar is Not Pinjol: Smart Selection, Wise Management" held at Victory University Sorong. This session aims to raise awareness among the younger generation about financial literacy and the importance of responsibly using official pindar services. AdaKami's Finance Director, Valentina Juveline, stated, "We welcome initiatives like Fintech Lending Days (FLD) 2025 that enhance public understanding of digital financial services. Collaborations like this strengthen the role of fintech lending as an inclusive and responsible financing solution, while also promoting local economic growth. We believe that a good understanding will help people use digital financial services wisely and safely." By participating in Fintech Lending Days 2025, AdaKami reaffirms its commitment to continue supporting financial education and expanding access to healthy financing throughout Indonesia. This event also serves as a concrete step in strengthening the inclusive digital funding ecosystem in eastern Indonesia, while supporting equitable national social and educational development.
