AI Can Help Governments Make Appropriate And Responsive Policies

Farah Fitria Rahmayanti, the Director of Digital Business at Peruri, highlighted the significance of using Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in government operations.

She stated that these technologies can serve as effective tools for decision-making and creating policies that better respond to community needs.

"In this fast-evolving digital technology era, digitalization is a crucial pillar for strengthening the foundation of modern governance. It is not just about adapting to technology, but a strategic move that fosters a more transparent, inclusive, and efficient government system," she said during the BE TALK event themed “Big Data and AI for Digital Government Improvement” on Friday, November 1, 2024.

Additionally, she mentioned that Peruri, known as GovTech Indonesia and branded as INA DIGITAL, is leading the integration of digital government services, focusing on the latest technologies to provide user-centric services, where design and development prioritize user needs and experiences.

Meanwhile, Imam Resti M, Head of Governance at BSrE, emphasized three key elements for successful digital transformation: growth mindset, innovation, and teamwork.

Imam stated that developing an adaptive mindset is crucial for sustainable growth and fostering a culture open to progress. "The success of digital transformation relies on the synergy and involvement of all parties," he mentioned.

Median Yuli Hartanto, Head of Government Digital Solution and Service Digital at PERURI, expressed hope that this initiative would enhance the quality of public services in Indonesia.

"We hope this activity will encourage the use of technology to tackle future challenges and serve as a starting point for leveraging technology to create innovative solutions," concluded Median.
