Bank Raya has won an award at the BUMN Awards 2024 in the category of Excellence in Financial Innovation and Impact. Kicky Andrie Davetra, the Business Director of Bank Raya, accepted the award. This recognition is due to Bank Raya's commitment to innovating quality digital products that make banking services more accessible to the public and help improve the productivity of business operators. Kicky stated that Bank Raya's efforts to promote high-quality digital banking innovation align with the strategy to boost digital business growth by offering comprehensive digital products. "This allows Bank Raya to serve the MSME market and scale up business by expanding into potential digital markets. We are also committed to continuously developing products that meet our customers' needs," Kicky said in a release received by Kontan.co.id on Wednesday (January 8). Bank Raya's efforts to grow its business are reflected in its strong performance in the third quarter of 2024. The net profit for Q3 2024 reached IDR 33.9 billion, growing by 130.9% year on year. In Q3 2024, the subsidiary of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) served over 910,000 customers through Raya Apps, a 17.8% increase year on year. The number of transactions on Raya Apps rose to 2.6 million, up by 98%. With the continued development of features and innovations in Raya Apps, the number of customers is expected to grow alongside digital savings, which reached IDR 1.1 trillion, a 39.9% increase year on year. Throughout 2024, Bank Raya has accelerated innovation as part of its main strategy to drive business growth. Recently, Bank Raya launched the Sapa Raya contact center service based on live chat within the Raya App. Additionally, Bank Raya continues to optimize synergy with the Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) ecosystem. Bank Raya is enhancing customer convenience by utilizing BRI channels for cash withdrawals and deposits at BRI ATMs and BRILink agents. They have introduced features like Saku Bareng and Quick Access for QRIS transactions in the Bank Raya app, accessible on the login page. This aims to make QRIS payments easier for users. Additionally, Bank Raya is expanding its service reach by collaborating with the BRI Group ecosystem to promote the adoption of its digital banking products to a broader market.
