The Commander Of The Army Personnel Mutation Has Announced The Transfer Of 300 High-ranking Officers Within The Indonesian National Armed Forces, Including The Commander Of The Joint Regional Defense

The Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, General Agus Subiyanto, has executed a reshuffle involving 300 high-ranking officers. This action is documented in the Chief of Staff's Decree No. 1545/XII/2024, dated December 6, which was received by Kompas.com on Monday, December 9, 2024. The authenticity of this document has also been confirmed by the TNI Information Center. According to the decree, the position of Commander of the Joint Defense Area Command (Pangkogabwilhan) I is now held by the Army, in contrast to its previous leadership by the Navy.

Major General Kunto Arief Wibowo has been appointed as the new Commander of Pangkogabwilhan I, having previously served as the Expert Staff for Economic Affairs at the National Resilience Council Secretariat. Meanwhile, Admiral Rachmad Jayadi, the former Commander of Pangkogabwilhan I, has been reassigned to the TNI Navy Headquarters as part of his retirement process. Additionally, the position of Commander of the Presidential Security Forces (Danpaspampres) has reverted to Major General Achiruddin, who had previously held this role before his promotion to Commander of Military Region VI/Mulawarman, as per the Chief of Staff's decree dated October 18. The current Commander of Military Region VI/Mulawarman is Major General Rudy Rachmat Nugraha.

Furthermore, Lieutenant General Mohammad Fadjar has received a new assignment as the Commander of the Army Strategic Command (Pangkostrad), succeeding Lieutenant General Mohamad Hasan, who has transitioned to the position of Commander of the Doctrine, Education, and Training Command of the Indonesian Army. The decree also designates Lieutenant General Nugroho Sulistyo Budi as the Head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).
