Friday, 25 Jul 2025

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is once again offering a delightful surprise for children across Indonesia. To commemorate National Children's Day 2025, TMII is providing free entry for children aged 12 years and under. This program will take place over just two days, specifically on July 26 and 27, 2025, with a limited quota of 3,000 children per day. For families seeking an educational and budget-friendly vacation, this is a golden opportunity to explore the rich cultures of the archipelago without incurring entrance fees. In this article, you will find the requirements for free entry to TMII, the promotional schedule, and important details to ensure a more enjoyable and smooth travel experience.

Free Entry to TMII for Children

This free entry program to TMII is exclusively for children aged up to 12 years. TMII requires the presentation of a Child Identity Card (KIA) as proof of age. This promotion is valid only for in-person visits, meaning it does not apply to online bookings or group reservations.

Each day, there is a limit of 3,000 children. Therefore, it is advisable to arrive early to avoid reaching capacity, especially for those wishing to visit on weekends.

Available for Only Two Days

TMII will offer this program for just two days, specifically on Saturday and Sunday, July 26–27, 2025. These dates have been selected to honor National Children's Day, which occurs on July 23.

This occasion also serves as an invitation for families to introduce Indonesian culture to children at an early age through direct experiences at the educational park TMII.

Free Tickets Do Not Include Vehicle Fees

It is important to note that free entry tickets are only applicable for children who are pedestrians or who enter the pedestrian area. Fees for personal vehicles such as cars or motorcycles still apply according to the standard rates. Therefore, ensure that you prepare funds for vehicle transportation into the TMII area.

Exciting Activities at TMII for Children

TMII now embraces the concept of "A Different Story" with various facility updates. Children can explore traditional house pavilions from all over Indonesia, engage in educational attractions such as the Transportation Museum, the Science and Technology Museum, and the Freshwater World. Certain areas like Keong Mas and the Cable Car have also become favorites among young visitors. On this National Children's Day, TMII offers children the opportunity to learn about cultural diversity in one place, in an enjoyable manner.
